July 4, 1997
I have been Pondering the movement of Mars in Libra this week....some of
you have T-squares in early Cardinal, or just one planet, and this may be
helpful.
Seems to me that Mars indicates it is time to move on in some areas and
drop some shackles!
These are my own personal predictions:
Those who have had a difficult year, those who have planets between 4-7
Cardinal will now start feeling a bit of relief as Mars passes its station
point, and those nasty eclipse points that involved Saturn.
The obstacles, problems, and discouragement starting Spring of 96,
highlighted around Labor Day 96, and felt all winter will fade by mid July
as Mars passes 7 Libra on July 7th and starts chugging along again.
By energetically asserting ourselves we get beyond the painful problems and
start anew.
Those with early cardinal planets celebrate Independence Day on July 7th!!
Past relationships, situations, and problems that held you back can now be
shed.
Remember Saturn tests us: and in this test if a person or situation has
been shown to be wanting, it can be dropped by the wayside.
We have clung to the past for security, we have clung to people or things
that have created difficulties for us, and that very security has become
an albatross around our neck.
Sometimes it is best to just go than to hold on to something.
In March 97 we had the first eclipse in Pisces/Virgo , and the next cycle
of eclipses occurs in this sector.
No more Libra/Aries eclipses in the immediate future testing our
relationships!!!!! Nor testing our ability to assert ourselves.!!! No longer will
Saturn figure so prominently in the eclipse pattern making us so aware of
our shortcomings and our separateness from others. Those with the early
degrees of Cardinal occupied by sensitive points or planets can now move on
with great experience and the lessons they have learned.
As we move into the next series of eclipse points, those with
8, 9 ,18 ,22 ,24 degrees Mutable will be under the gun.
The spring 97 eclipse at 18 Pi/Vi was emphasized by a Mars station nearby.
Echoes from the November 95 station of Saturn may have occured as we
reexperienced a feeling of isolation or difficulty again through people or
things. Those with both 5 Cardinal and 18 Mutable prominent in their charts
may have finally gotten angry at their situation and started another line
of action.
Those with 22/23 Mutable emphasized will find October 97 particularly
rewarding as the eclipse occurs with a trine from Mars in Scorpio, and
followed by a culmination of this activity in March 98 as Mars hits that
eclipse point ( around the 23rd of February) and the eclipse sextiles a
slow moving Venus. This could bode well for those who are dealing with
relationships at these points.
Again, there is an echo from the July 95 station point of Saturn in Pisces. If that was a difficult time for you, it may pay to be thoughtful of past mistakes and cautious during this period. Remember, history repeats itself!
However, it would seem that those people may be finding they have more
confidence, are more able to cope, and they find this time they fly above
the possible snares and traps laid for them. They have learned their
lessons well (we hope).
Those however with planets at 7-9 Mutable will find some shakeups in the
areas denoted by their planets as the eclipse of January 26 1998 is
squaring Pluto. Jupiter closeby, however, will guarantee that the upheaval
will be beneficial in the long run. Rather than look at Pluto as wiping
something out, look at this New Moon eclipse as a time to spread seeds
widely for the future. The September 97 eclipse and new Moon at 9 Virgo
will indicate what must be gotten rid of, and where new starts must be
begun. This area will be forced into new growth by the next spring, but
you'll have to think carefully and logically to discern it. It could be
that inappropriate predjudices or philosophies must be shed to utilize this
eclipse pattern in the best possible way.
Love and Light,
Bette
