Getting to Know Bonnie Wilson, "The Bountiful Astrologer"

Bonnie was raised and educated in beautiful Southern Utah where the red rocks and the vortex were just everyday things.  She says, "We took the beauty for granted. Our schools were first rate. The best thing that ever happened to me (besides getting married to Harry) was I learned to read!!!!!

I had finished the children's Library by fourth grade and had special permission to join the adult Library. I read everything I could get my hands on and started on my metaphysical journey at age twelve, when I read about Edgar Cayce, 'The Miracle Man of Virginia Beach.'  I left Southern Utah for Bountiful, Utah and, after a few more years of study I became 'The Bountiful Astrologer.'

I searched for books and I searched for teachers. C.R. And Sue Apitz and a few other people started The Astrological Society of Utah.  I had found a home, where people spoke my language. Finding good books was a different story.  I haunted book stores in every state of the nation and was able to get a wonderful collection.

I taught 'Astrology' for many years at the Golden Braid book store in Salt Lake City and at my home in Bountiful.  Joined 'Project Hindsight in 1992 and learned so much about ancient astrologers.  I brought every astrologer I could find into Utah to lecture and teach to the interested people there.
I don't know any more about astrology than a lot of other people, but I would like to share what I have learned with other interested astrologers."

img1.gif From Bonnie's husband Harry: I am thankful that we had 5 months since she was told she had terminal cancer. We had the opportunity which most people don't have to talk about our 41 years together. I am so glad I could honor her wishes to remain here at home until the end. She always said she did not want to spend a year in a nursing home as her dear mother did. Hospice has been so good that it is hard to give them all the credit they deserve. They took care of all our needs and because they did I was as prepared as anyone could be for Bonine's passing. I also have so many friends who have been my support through this hardest time of my life. Surprising as it may sound I think I am more at peace now that she has gone to heaven. We are going to try to have a memorial or as Telle says a celebration of Bonine's life on April 28 which is Bonnie's birthday. We will be having it here at our house. All ready I have had many friends here to lend their support and I am blessed with many friends. Love from Harry & Bonnie

TRIBUTES

We met Bonnie & Harry Wilson on our Cruise Holiday last year in Mexico. We joined their table in the dining room two days into our Cruise, they made us very welcome and treated us like Friends straight away.

We always looked forward to dining with them catching up on the days events and swopping stories, we also started to meet for drinks before dinner, take photos and maybe dance a little.

We just wanted to say that Bonnie & Harry made our Cruise so much nicer and more memorable and the best thing was we got Engaged whilst on our Holiday and it was Bonnie & Harry who celebrated with us.

Bonnie was a Wonderful, kind and very sweet person who will be missed by many.

 Love always

Dear Harry,

You may not remember me, and my son Donald.

I meet Bonnie in Arizona for lunch one day during the summer, of 1997. She prepared a generous and tasty tuna sandwich and sprinkled our visit with love and wisdom. She did a tape for me in 1996 ordered by a friend in Utah.  Her inspirations changed my life and gave me faith to carry forward with courage that no matter what hard times we had or were to experience were for our good and development today.

My son, was due to be born on April 28th, like Bonnie. He was born early on March 14th. Amazingly, he has been an anchor for my soul and growth. I’d like to think that Bonnie left me a beautiful soul here in her shadow of light.

We loved Bonnie and fell in love with you when we met you, too! Bonnie’s many years of good work will carry us far into the heavens when the time comes because she simply assured our lives were created and made in God’s hands from beginning to end. She assured us that we had purpose and more meaning than we could ever imagine for ourselves. She was a blessing. Our love and thoughts for ever more and please do write us when you can. Bonnie was a ROSE of light.

I’m sorry I missed her. My intuition was speaking to me a year ago to hunt her down and write but our lives were in deep change again.

Today, it feels like it is done and over…..and we can count on her in heaven. God bless you both.

 Love,

 JoAnne
