Karen Pavlus

Karen Pavlus was an upstate New York astrologer who lived in Fort Plain and President of the Upstate New York Chapter of NCGR.

Karen was born in Amsterdam, New York. She graduated from Fort Plain High School in 1962. She had a diverse career which began as a limousine driver and then to owning her own craft business. Karen was also the creator of Angelic Bearer Guardian Angels, a Special Angel of Protection.

Karen was an accomplished astrologer and regularly taught both beginning and intermediate astrology classes. Through her involvement with N.C.G.R,, she was instrumental in bringing astrology to upstate New York. She lived in Fort Plain, New York where her and her husband of 43 years, Edward, owned and operated Pavlus Orchards. In addition, Karen was also well-known for her delicious apple pies and other homemade baked goods.

She died at the age of 62, after a 24-year battle with breast cancer. Karen died on one of her favorite days, Halloween, October 31, 2008.
