JULIE BAUM, LPMAFA
(1902-1998)

AstroDatabank says, "Julie Baum came to the US from her native Germany in 1922. She began to study astrology seriously in 1934. She served as the secretary of Friends of Astrology, Inc, in Chicago from 1955-1966 and as President from 1966-1969. Upon her move to Florida in 1969, she was active in the Florida Astrological Association, where she lectured and taught classes in advanced astrology and cosmobiology."

From the AFA Journal, Fall, 1998:

"Julie Baum lived in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she was active with the local AFA affiliate in teaching and helping people learn and know about astrology. She served on the AFA Board of Directors for many years and was always active in her pursuit of projects that would assist the growth of astrology. Her clients were from all around the country as well as in Germany. She helped bring cosmobiology into the United States through her friendship with Baldur Ebertin.

"All who came to know Julie as an AFA board member also felt enriched by sharing together the work of astrology and the aims of AFA, which were her lifelong goals. We thank her for this dedication and superb work done in the years of service to AFA. Julie's host of friends, clients and members of AFA wish her well and all will remember her as gracious, friendly and always willing to help those needing to find answers to their problems."
