KT (Katherine) Boehrer's AstroDataBank record written by Lois Rodden notes the following:

"An American astrologer and author of her declination studies, Kt is widely known for her book Declination: The Other Dimension which was published in 1994 as the best selling new book at the AFA Convention. It continued to be a best selling book every year since then and was going into the 4th. edition in 2001. Prior to that, she was editor of The Stellium Quarterly, an astrological journal that was published primarily to introduce her work with declination to the general public. From its first edition in 1975 it was a very successful publication. She was forced to close this publication down because of the illness and subsequent death of her husband, James Boehrer."

Leigh Westin, Editor of The Other Dimension, the Newsletter of the NCGR Declination SIG wrote this tribute to KT:

This grand dame of astrology is credited with the original research and coining of the term out-of-bounds, a theory that significantly impacted current interpretation. Two more innovations were her Boehrer Conversion, the mirroring of out-of-bounds positions to find their active points within the ecliptic, and the ecliptic graph that vividly allowed out-of-bounds bodies to be visualized.

Kt’s self-published book Declination: The Other Dimension (1994) was one of the few ever written exclusively on declination. It touched on all of life, mundane, medical and individual.

From 1975, she and her husband, Jim, hosted many well-known speakers in the El Paso area and published the international Stellium Quarterly until Jim’s death in 1986. Later Kt collaborated with Ed Dearborn to establish the Declination SIG. It is after her book that the SIG’s newsletter was named: The Other Dimension. She wrote manhy articles for the newsletter.

There is no question that Kt’s influence and research have been instrumental in bringing declination to its current popularity. All that knew this generous and genuinely sincere lady will miss her delightful eloquence, valiant spirit and positive outlook in all that she became involved.

More about Kt Boehrer can be found on the Declination SIG website under "History of Application".
