Stephanie Erickson
(1949-1999)

Stephanie Erickson was involved with astrology and metaphysics for over 20 years. At different times, she was first vice president of Aquarius Workshops and recording secretary for AFAN. She taught at Everywoman's Village in Sherman Oaks and also taught classes privately throughout the Los Angeles area.

Energetic and vivacious, she was also an able organizer for astrological businesses and events. For a number of years, she was the west coast sales representative for RKM Enterprises, Buz Myers' tape and publishing arm. She was instrumental in organizing the trade show for UAC in 1986.

BIRTH AND DEATH DATA: Stephanie gave Sue Culhane the following data from her birth certificate: she was born December 16, 1949, at 2:44 PM PST, in Los Angeles, California. Her husband gave the death data of April 22, 1999, at 1:30 AM Los Angeles, CA. He said he knew she would have wanted him to get the time of death, so he recorded it.

A TRIBUTE TO STEPHANIE ERICKSON:

Sue Culhane, who suggested Stephanie for this memorial says,
"Stephanie was a wonderful teacher and friend. She was very enthusiastic with a passion for astrology and everything else in the world. She died of breast and stomach cancer. She had cancer for 14 years but she didn't want people to know her that way and the only person who knew was her husband. I talked to her almost every day and met her about once a week for 11 years and I never knew. She was my best friend and I would love for her to be added to the memorial."

Jayj Jacobs writes:

"I'm moved to say a few words about Stephanie Erickson whose death I learned of at UAC'02. I would have been sad sooner had I known earlier.

"Stephanie was a stalwart supporter of AFAN from the very beginning demonstrating her passionate dedication to astrology, and to astrologers she never met. She was quick to raise questions and to offer suggestions. She was even quicker to respond when something needed to be done. You could always count on Stephanie to get the job done & to do the right thing. She served AFAN with dedication & diligence long before, & after, she was our Recording Secretary. Stephanie loved to play & party as well as to produce. She carried fun in the basket of her smile. With a bright smile & a clear heart she was a friend to everyone. Her pain never showed; but her pleasure in accomplishing purpose always did. Aloha nui loa." Jayj
