In Memory of Jindra Johanisvoa (1932-2011)
PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC. When the Berlin Wall ended, I felt that it was my destiny to be there for this event. I connected with astrologers in Berlin, Prague, and Poland and visited every astrologer who wrote to me.
I received a warm letter from Jindra Johanisova who invited me to come and speak with the astrologers in Prague. Jindra became my interpreter with the astrology meetings and television interviews. I brought books and old astrological shareware programs for the astrological community. In Prague, I felt that these people were my family and Jindra was my Big Sister, a person to whom I could turn for advice on life, love and living. For over 20 years, we exchanged lengthy letters. I visited her at least once a year.
Jindra at her table where we would have many discussions about astrology and lifeOn February 1, I received an e-mail from Zdenek Bohuslav, President of the Czech Astrological Society, telling me that Jindra had passed suddenly due to heart failure. This news broke my heart as Jindra was my best friend. She was a great friend of the Czech astrological community as she shared the publications and articles that I would send to her. I will miss her all the days of my life.
