Robin MacNaughton

(1947-2005)

 

Robin MacNaughton was a professional astrologer for thirty years and maintained a private practice in Avon, Connecticut.   She passed away after a short illness at the age of 58 in Hartford, Ct.  Robin was also a well-known astrological author and published thirteen books.

In addition to her private astrological practice, Robin extensively studied Jungian psychology Buddhism, Hinduism, the Tarot, the Kabbalah and Taoism. As an astrological consultant, she worked for several psychologists and a Jungian analyst.

Hi there, I am 58, almost 59 (sept. 28), and gees Robin was sooo young, and until now, I had no idea that she had passed! I thought to myself tonight, FINALLY, I must make contact with this wonderful gal, such a very favorite author of mine, would love to read even more, though I have all her books...she has given me so much...and thru me, my clients. She is such a very rich deep contributor to the field! I am close to tears here. What sort of illness is that? (I too have practiced astrology 30 years.) Well, if there are any remaining amongst her friends anyone remote to her character and temperament, I am open to knowing you, to be sure. She had such a special place in my heart, and I have read sooo many astrologers over the years. What a wonderful contribution she has made! Anyways, I live in Fresno, spent my 20's and half my 30's in an ashram, studying the Vedas, and astrology is my life work. Thank you for setting up the Memorial Site to Ms. MacNaughton. At age 58, we lost her entirely too early. While I never had the chance to meet her and only began reading her book, "Sun Sign Personality Signs", the spirit with which she lived is so fervently flowing through the pages of her work. Her energy, passion, and good will resonate through out the book...

I was shocked and saddened when I found out Robin had passed... I lost track of her in 2003 when I suffered an injury that kept me laid up for 3 years.

I have 4 of her books. They are so old now that the pages are brown and brittle and some torn from the constant reading.

I went on line to find the books again and ended up in the memorial website. I was so sad. She was a wonderful writer. All her books are written with truth and grace.

I went on Amazon and re-ordered the books that are so worn out I'm afraid to thumb through them again.

I spent many years living by her horoscopes and her sun sign predictions of compatibility. I passed the information of her books to friends and co-workers as well as some family members. I gave her books as gifts..

I am going to miss the books she was still destined to write and I will treasure the old and new ones that I own of hers.

She was a treasure, and she is sorely missed. I was a loyal fan of Robin's and will always be a fan.

May God hold her close...and hopefully, she is reading his horoscope as we speak..
