BIORHYTHMS

What is a Biorhythm?

A biorhythm is a cyclical pattern of biological activity that begins at birth with three sine wave cycles indicating our Physical, Emotional, and Intellectual highs and lows. At birth they all start a zero and move up and flow with their particular rhythm throughout life. The magnitude of the cycles have no significance except to indicate negative, zero, and positive values.

The use of the biorhythm chart has been studied for many years. The Japanese have used it to help keep down accidents in the work place. Critical jobs require the employee to stay home if two of the factors are crossing the center line at the same time.

How to check your own Biorhythms

You enter your year, month (numeric), and day of birth then click Calc. You will then notice the three different colored lines. Look at the vertical line for today's date and notice where the colored lines cross it. This is your biorhythm for today. Days when your lines cross the middle black line are the most critical days. This is when you are most vulnerable to accidents, bad decisions, and emotional swings. Each rhythm has it own cycle rhythm:

•23-Day Cycle For Physical Strength And Endurance
•28-Day Cycle For Emotional Activity
•33-Day Cycle For Intellectual Activity

---Physical---

The Physical cycle of 23 days has to do with our energy, vitality, stamina, vigor, endurance and initiative.

When "P" is "UP", that is, on the upper side of the middle "CRITICAL" line, we are more likely to feel better, be full of energy, and less likely to become ill.The Weather in Hell

When Physical is 'DOWN", on the lower side of the center line, we tend to tire more easily and be more apt to catch colds and other illnesses.

---Emotional---

The Emotional cycle of 28 days shows our sensitivity and temperament.

When "E" is on the upper side of the line, also known as the positive side, we are more likely to be cheerful, creative, artistic, sensuous, etc.

When our Emotional cycle is "DOWN", or negative, we are more likely to be moody, bad tempered, irritable, depressed, etc.

---Intellectual---

Our Intellectual cycle of 33 days shows the swings in our thinking capacity.

When "I" cycle is "UP" we are able to think quickly, solve problems, do well on tests, concentrate, retain facts to memory, etc.

When our Intellectual is "DOWN", we display poor memory and judgment. We may find it hard to concentrate. Poor decisions may be made during this period.

---Critical or Zero days----

Zero days, when the curve crosses the center line, are also called 'CRITICAL" days. This is the period then your system may be in a turmoil. Things are likely to go wrong and you may be more accident prone. However, we may be able to prevent unforeseen problems just by being aware of our CRITICAL or ZERO days.
