General Information:
Helps reduce blood pressure - during pregnancy this helps to protect against preeclampsia. Taken with Vitamin D which helps to absorb calcium, will fortify bones and teeth. Since calcium binds with oxalate (which forms kidney stones) there should be adequate calcium in the diet so the oxalate doesn't go unbound where it can enter the kidneys and form stones. Requirements are 500 to 1000 mg per day. The larger dose should be taken in the evening.
